Policies for Pre-K and K Art Classes

Revised as of July 2015

Tuition is $20 per class.  Each class is 1 hour long and meets once a week.  Tuition is paid by the month ($80 or $100 on months with 5 classes).  Tuition for the month must be paid in full by the second class of the month.  Pro-rating a month (paying for only a few of the classes each month) will only be permitted during the summer months (June, July, and August) and during December.  If a student has to leave in the middle of a month, the unattended classes can be ŇfrozenÓ and applied when the student returns. Tuition cannot be refunded.  Tuition can be paid in cash or by check.  Checks should be made out to Jessica Dupree.

Sibling Discount

There is a 10% discount off the total tuition for siblings.

Students will be responsible for purchasing, caring for, and remembering to bring their own supplies for class.

Class Size

Classes are semi-private and are 2 to 6 students.  Each student will be working on their own project and moving through the program at their own rate.

Cancellation and Make Up Policy

Mrs. Dupree must be notified of a cancellation at least an hour before the missed class in order for the student to receive a makeup class.  Make up classes may be taken in another time slot during a month tuition has been paid and regular classes are being attended.  There are no refunds for missed classes.

The following are days that the studio will be closed.  Classes that fall on these days will have an automatic deduction of tuition for that month.  The studio will be closed: New YearŐs Eve, New YearŐs Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday following, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas.

Pick up and Drop Off Policy

Students should be dropped off no earlier than 10 minutes before class and should be picked up promptly after class.  If the student is to be picked up by some one who is not a parent or legal guardian or is unknown to Jessica Dupree, the parent/guardian should inform Mrs. Dupree in person or by a signed note sent with the child.

This is an art studio and it is definitely meant for having fun, but there are also delicate works of art and dangerous chemicals.  Rough housing or disrespect of the teacher will not be tolerated and will be grounds for the dismissal of the student.

I have read and understood the policies above.
